Renata Bubadu茅
Renata is a registered nurse in Brazil and former research trainee at VOICE. She completed her Masters and Doctoral studies at Anna Nery School of Nursing at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Her research interests include nursing advocacy care, children's rights and knowledge translation in the context of Children with Special Health Care Needs and HIV/AIDS.

Nora Makansi
Nora joined the VOICE project in January 2015 as the听lead on the school research to听conduct ethnographic interviews with key informants (students in primary and secondary education as well as selected adults within the school setting) and participant observation in kindergarten classes.
Her听undergraduate background is Dentistry. She听completed her听Masters and Doctoral studies at the department of community oral health at 大发彩票平台. In her听Doctoral research, she听used a mixed methods approach to examine the behavioral and socio-environmental factors associated with eating habits in an adolescent population.

Raissa Passos dos Santos
Raissa has a background in Nursing with a bachelor鈥檚 and master鈥檚 degree from the 听Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM). She completed a doctoral degree in Nursing at 大发彩票平台 in children with medical complexity as a VOICE trainee. Her doctoral thesis explored the experiences of children living with medical complexity in Brazil, focusing on moral agency and the inclusion of children鈥檚 voices in matters about their health condition. During her doctoral studies, she received competitive funding from the Fonds de recherche du Qu茅bec 鈥� Sant茅. In 2016-2020, she received research grants from the David McCutcheon Pediatric Palliative Care Research Fund. During her Ph.D. program, she was part of 大发彩票平台鈥檚 Global Health Scholars Program and volunteered at the pediatric palliative care service Le Phare Enfants et Familes in Montreal.
