Conditions of Admission & Accepting Your Offer


Friendly reminder: All students admitted into the program must submit official transcripts from all universities listed in the . Please ensure that your final transcript reads that your bachelor’s degree has been conferred before ordering it. Please see legal documents for more information.

Confirming an Offer of Admission

Confirmation of your acceptance shall be considered complete when (a) our Office has received a signed copy of the Conditions of Admission document uploaded via the Applicant Portal (retain the original); and (b) you have accepted the offer and paid the deposit in the .  

This deposit is applicable against tuition fees and is non-refundable. The Office reserves the right to withdraw this offer if you have not completed these steps by the relevant deadline.  

You may encounter difficulties when attempting to accept the offer via the Applicant Portal, if you have previously accepted another program at ´ó·¢²ÊƱƽ̨. If you are experiencing a problem, please communicate with med.admissions [at] mcgill.ca (our office) to let us know that you wish to decline your previous offer and we will request to have your previous program declined on your behalf, so you may accept the medicine offer.

NOTE: Students admitted to the MDCM program from Med-P are not required to pay the deposit.

Problems accepting an offer for current ´ó·¢²ÊƱƽ̨ students

If you are currently enrolled in another program at ´ó·¢²ÊƱƽ̨, you will not be able to register for your courses until your Student Record is updated. Please communicate with med.admissions [at] mcgill.ca (our office) and confirm your intentions for the program you are currently registered in (see 3 options below). We will work with Student Records to get your record updated so that you can register for your courses.

  1. Will graduate by end of summer.
  2. Withdraw from current program – must fill out the to withdraw from the graduate program once all your final grades are in for the Winter semester. 
  3. Students who need to be enrolled simultaneously in a graduate studies program to finish their thesis in the Fall term, must refer to the Concurrent Registration policy on the UGME website and submit the completed concurrent program registration form to UGME.
