Français langue étrangère : This course is designed for students from a variety of disciplines (health and social work) to help them interact with clients despite their limited knowledge of French language skills. Various situations of clinical communication with clients, study of linguistic elements taught at the Intermediate 1 level - lexical, grammatical and stylistic as used in professional communication. Acquisition of efficient communication strategies.

  • Prerequisites: French Placement Test or instructor's recommendation or FRSL 207, FRSL 209.

  • Restrictions: Not open to students who have taken FRSL 333-04 prior to fall 2018
