 nequalities at ´ó·¢²ÊƱƽ̨\, where she is a Full Professor with a jo
 int appointment across the Faculties of Arts (Dept. of Sociology) and Medi
 cine and Health Sciences (School of Population and Global Health\, Dept. o
 f Epidemiology\, Biostatistics and Occupational Health). She is the foundi
 ng Director of the ´ó·¢²ÊƱƽ̨ Observatory on Health and Social Services Reform
 s and a founding member of the ´ó·¢²ÊƱƽ̨ Center on Population Dynamics. She a
 lso founded CAnD3\, an international consortium of 36 academic\, governmen
 t\, private and non-profit organizations delivering training in support of
  evidence-based decision making.\n\nQuesnel-Vallée’s research examines the
  contribution of policies to social inequalities in health over the life c
 ourse and has been recognized through awards from professional association
 s including the American Sociological Association\, the Population Associa
 tion of America\, and the American Public Health Association. She is a two
 -time Fulbright Foundation awardee\, most recently of a Distinguished Chai
 r (2020). She is the President of the Canadian Population Society and a pa
 st-President of the International Sociological Association’s Research Comm
 ittee on the Sociology of Health. She has demonstrated experience and lead
 ership in providing strategic advice to several organizations\, notably th
 e Canadian Institutes of Health Research\, where she is Chair of the Stand
 ing Committee on Finance and a Member of the Executive Committee of the Go
 verning Council. Committed to furthering public understanding of science\,
  Quesnel-Vallée is frequently sought by media outlets such as National Pub
