 50 \n\nPIYPD: Poem in Your Pocket Day began in New York City in 2002 as an
  arts initiative. Since then\, it’s become a global celebration of poetry 
 and community. The Montreal Prize strives to highlight contemporary poets 
 and poetry—most notably by offering $20\,000 for a single poem. Poetry Mat
 ters works to create space for research-informed conversations about and e
 ngagement with poetry by hosting participatory events. Together\, we’re ho
 sting a PIYPD event to honour the spirit of Poetry Month and our shared co
 mmunity.  \n\nAnyone is welcome\, so spread the word! All you need to do t
 o RSVP is fill out this form with the link to/title of the poem you'll bri
 ng in your 'pocket.' Feel free to send in a poem even if you are unable to
  attend. We’ll print the poems and bring them to the event\, where you’ll 
 have the chance to mingle and share your favorite works with other attende
 es. A reception will follow. \n\nWe hope to see you for an evening of poet
