The comprehensive interview\ , which can be administered in person or via telehealth using videoconfere ncing\, allows clinicians and researchers to collect valuable information about an individual’s behaviours and developmental history to evaluate pos sible symptoms of autism.\n\nWorkshop goals:\n\n\n Learn the fundamentals o f ADI-R administration and scoring\n Practice ADI-R coding through observat ion of two ADI-R administrations and detailed coding discussions\n Develop practical skills in using and interpreting ADI-R algorithms and classifica tions\n Explore the clinical use of the ADI-R (e.g.\, report writing)\, its psychometric properties\, and associated research.\n\n\n \n\nLanguage\n\n This workshop is offered in English.\n\n \n\nAccreditation\n\nAccreditatio n ensures participants that the activities in which they take part in meet ´ó·¢²ÊƱƽ̨'s high educational standards.\n\nMore information comin g soon. \n\n \n\nWho can attend\n\n\n New and experienced clinicians\, rese archers\, and students who would like to learn about and gain additional s kills in diagnosing autism using the ADI-R\n International and Canadian par ticipants\n\n\n \n\nAbout the trainer\n\nMandy Steiman\, PhD\, Clinical Ps ychologist\, specializes in the assessment of autism and associated diagno ses. She received an undergraduate degree at ´ó·¢²ÊƱƽ̨\, and Maste r of Science and doctoral degrees at the University of Washington in Seatt le.\n\nDr. Steiman has held positions at the ´ó·¢²ÊƱƽ̨ Health Cent re\, working with complex and diverse clinical populations and leading mul ti-disciplinary teams. For over 15 years\, she has served as a clinical si te leader for numerous multi-site and longitudinal research studies. \n\nD r. Steiman trains students and professionals from a wide range of discipli nes in diagnostic assessment for both research and clinical purposes. She is a certified trainer for diagnostic tools\, including the Autism Diagnos tic Observation Schedule – Second Edition (ADOS-2) and the Autism Diagnost ic Interview – Revised (ADI-R).
