It covers modules 1\, 2\, 3 and 4 as well as the Toddler modu le\, and includes discussion about:\n\n\n the use of the ADOS-2 in making a clinical diagnosis\n administration\, scoring\, and use of ADOS-2 algorith ms\n issues related to differential diagnosis\, diagnosis in context\, comp lex clinical situations\, and report writing\n current research on ADOS-2. \n\n\n \n\nLanguage\n\n\n This workshop is offered in French\n An English wo rkshop will be held in April 2023\n\n\n \n\nWho can attend\n\n\n New and ex perienced clinicians\, researchers\, and students who want to use or learn more about the ADOS-2\n International and Canadian participants are welcom e\n\n\n \n\nAbout the trainer\n\nMandy Steiman\, PhD\, Psychologist\, spec ializes in the assessment of Autism Spectrum Disorder and associated diagn oses. She received an undergraduate degree at ´ó·¢²ÊƱƽ̨\, and Mast er of Science and doctoral degrees at the University of Washington in Seat tle.\n\nSteiman has held positions at the ´ó·¢²ÊƱƽ̨ Health Centre since 2006\, working with complex and diverse clinical populations and lea ding multi-disciplinary teams. For over 15 years\, she has served as a cli nical site leader for numerous multi-site and longitudinal research studie s. \n\nSteiman trains students and professionals from a wide range of disc iplines in diagnostic assessment for both research and clinical purposes. She is a certified trainer for diagnostic tools\, including the Autism Dia gnostic Observation Schedule – Second Edition (ADOS-2) and the Autism Diag nostic Interview – Revised (ADI-R). Her goal is to train professionals to provide high quality\, evidence-based care while employing an empathic and collaborative approach with patients and their families.\n\n \n\nAbout th e workshop facilitator\n\nNoémie Hébert-Lalonde\, PhD\, Neuropsychologist\ , specializes in neurodevelopmental conditions present in children and you ng adults. \n\nHébert-Lalonde obtained her degree from the Université de M ontréal in 2014.
