These conditions often lead to severe disability and deaths\ , adversely impacting the lives of individuals and costing Canada billions of dollars per year. Neurosurgery plays a vital role in treating brain di sorders\, with 0.67 million essential neurosurgical cases in the US and Ca nada annually. Today\, multi-modal bioimaging technology\, such as MRI\, C T\, and optical imaging has become an integral component of the clinical c are. The advancement of latest computational technologies\, such as artifi cial intelligence and augmented reality/virtual reality (AR/VR) can greatl y enhance the value of medical images to offer clinicians potentially more accurate and efficient tools in surgical planning and monitoring. The tal k will focus on the development and integration of novel multi-modal medic al imaging\, AI\, and AR/VR tools developed at the Health-X Lab of Concord ia University to tackle existing challenges for the surgical care of neuro logical disorders\, including Parkinson’s disease\, brain tumor\, and cere brovascular diseases.\n DTSTART:20240226T180000Z DTEND:20240226T190000Z LOCATION:De Grandpre Communications Centre\, Montreal Neurological Institut e\, CA\, QC\, Montreal\, H3A 2B4\, 3801 rue University SUMMARY:Feindel Brain and Mind Seminar Series: Towards Intelligent and Intu itive Neurosurgical Technology URL:/neuro/fr/channels/event/feindel-brain-and-mind-se minar-series-towards-intelligent-and-intuitive-neurosurgical-technology-35 3655 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
