 n learning English-as-a-second language from immigrant and refugee familie
 s. Paradis has published more than 70 peer-reviewed journal articles and c
 hapters on bilingual children and is first author of Dual Language Develop
 ment and Disorders\, 3rd Edition\, Brookes Publishing (2021). Paradis is t
 he recipient of the 2020 National Achievement Award from the Canadian Ling
